We are sad to announce that on February 22, 2020, at the age of 93, Helen Elizabeth Shanks (Wabash, Indiana) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Garl Henry and Mary Hettmansperger (Gibney); and her brother Hilton Hettmansperger. She is survived by: her spouse Dale Shanks; her children, Patrick Davis (Marilyn) of Wabash, Ed Davis (Carol) of LaFontaine, Will Davis (Ulonda) of Wabash, Teresa Lynn Weatherford (Buddy) of Darlington, Jodi Shanks (Rita) of Gas City and Rocky Shanks (Kim) of Marion; and her brother Robert Hettmansperger (Susie) of Wabash. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, several great grandchildren.
