He is survived by: his former wife Ruth A. Rapp; his wife Ruth A Summers of North Manchester; and his brothers, Jim Summers (Marge) of Lagro, Jack Summers (Carolyn) of LaFontaine, Bernard Summers (Becky) of Bedford and Robert Summers (Joyce) of Wabash. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
