She was predeceased by: her parents, Jess Parentice and Anita Parentice (Schimetschek); her daughter Kara Brown; and her brother Michael Parentice. She is survived by: her husband Mike Nearhouse Sr. of Wabash; her children, Kurt Butgereit (Nancy) of Wabash, Mike Nearhouse, Jr. of Kokomo, Michelle Pogue (Steve) of Macy and Mark Nearhouse of Kokomo; her brother Jonathan Parentice (Lynn) of Moab; and her sister-in-law Mary Parentice of Asheville. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service (1241 Manchester Ave, Wabash, IN 46992). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
Preferred memorial is American Cancer Society.
