He is survived by: his wife Dixie Tackett; his children, Teresa Tackett of Wabash, Tammie Tackett of Wabash and Randy Tackett of Wabash; and his grandchildren, Jessie Tackett (Abby) of Wabash, Jared Tackett of Wabash, Travis Tackett (Kristen) of Wabash, Heath Tackett of Wabash, Nick Schumaker (Stephanie) of South Bend, Kevin Schumaker (Caitlyn) of Noblesville and Brian Schumaker (Melissa) of Indianapolis. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
