We are sad to announce that on August 7, 2023, at the age of 94, Frances B. York in Wabash, Indiana, born in Mill Shoals, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William O. Bryant and Lana S. Bryant (Fleck); her husband Gilbert Earl York; and her siblings, Robert Bryant and Kathryn Konsler.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon Whitsitt (Randy) and Kevin York (Joyce) of Fairfield, IL; her grandchildren, Laura Whitsitt and Meredith Thurmond (Grant); her stepgrandchildren, Tiffany Cowles, Amber Williams and Joseph Polston; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Alexis, Matthew, Keeley and Marlee; and her siblings, Jake Bryant (Helen) of Burnt Prairie, IL, Koy Bryant (Margaret) of Carmi, IL and Dorys Glover of Albion, IL..
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Frances' memory to Wabash Christian Village Activity Fund or Wesleyan Church and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi, who is in charge of arrangements.
