She was predeceased by: her parents, Johanne Mueller and Frieda V. Schaefer; her daughter Betty Saunders; and her great grandchild Luke Schneider. She is survived by: her husband Forest E. Smith; her children, Fred J. Smith (Rose) of LaFontaine, Gerald Smith of Wabash and Kristl Andrews (Charles) of Wabash; her stepson James E. Smith (Jill) of Wabash; and her brothers, Gerd Mueller (Karen) of Wabash and Eduard Mueller (Rosie) of Wabash. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
