He was predeceased by: his parents, Alva Russell and Emma Eveline Hampton (Curl); and his sister Alice Sanders. He is survived by: his son Asphalt; his wife Kristi Jo Hampton of Wabash; and his brothers, Jack Hampton of Wabash and Albert Hampton (Linda) of Goshen. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
