She was predeceased by: her parents, Meredith Middleton and Ruth Middleton (Holcom); and her brothers, Robert, Larry and Jimmy Middleton.

She is survived by: her husband Robert Cowger; her daughters, Madonna Dyer (Robert) of Andrews, Malinda Bond (Tim) of Picayune and Malissa Timmons (Scott) of Delphi; her grandchildren, Jesse Stouffer, Julian Stouffer, Kaitlin Bond, Amanda Stouffer, Bradley Lawrence and John Lawrence; and her siblings, Jack Eugene Middleton of North Manchester and Sue Allegree of Wabash. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
