She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Burvia Hoover and Mable Hoover; her significant other Robert S. Mattern; her children, Linda Hoy (Phil), Connie Mattern of Wabash, IN and Alan Mattern; her grandsons, Joseph Hoy (Tammy) of Knox, IN and Benjamin Hoy; her great grandchildren, Matt Hoy (Maggie), Shantae Shepherd of Knox, IN, Alan Hoy (Taylor) of Knox, IN, John and William Hoy of Syracuse, IN.; her great great grandchildren, Taylen Cole, Kinsley and Kallen Hoy of Knox, IN.; and her siblings, Virgia Schnepp, Doyle Hoover, Harvey Hoover, Norma Wilcox, Mary Schenkel, Irene Donaldson, Ethel Fogel, Nancy Neher, Larry Hoover and Fred Hoover.
In lieu of flowers, preferred memorials are to the Urbana Yoke Parish or Urbana Lions Club.
