He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd B. Hendry and Ethel A. Hendry (Conner); his brother Arnold Hendry; and his grandchildren, Brad Creasey, Kristy Wilhelm and Lisa Creasey.
He is survived by: his sons, Steve Hendry (Cheryl) of Colorado and Scott Hendry (Andrews); his stepchildren, Jeffrey Leland (Dixie) of Andrews, Tammy Lake (Lynn) of Wabash and Rhonda King (Danny) of Wabash; and his sisters, Laverne Sonafrank (Bob) of Mount Vernon and Deloris Brown of Elkhart. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, seven great grandchildren.
