He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Harrell and Della Harrell (Aldridge); his son Kevin Harrell; his daughter-in-law Charlene Harrell; and his brothers, Ernest, Herbert, Herman and Lester Harrell.
He is survived by: his wife Deloris Jean Shepherd; and his children, Walter Harrell (Monica) of Roanoke, James Harrell of Lagro, Frances Napier (Ed) of North Manchester, Tina Eakright (Phill) of Wabash, Lisa Schoener of Wabash, Lori McCune (Dennis) of Cochranton, Susan Kramer (Jon) of Huntington and Christina Harrell of Kokomo. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren, and 27 great grandchildren.
