With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David L. Abel of Wabash, Indiana, who passed away on October 25, 2022 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Abel and Dora Abel; and his wife Mary Jane Abel. He is survived by: his children, David Leroy Abel II (Marcia Gienapp) of Valparaiso, Frederick Abel of Irvine, California and Ruth Canfield (Terry) of Greensburg, Indiana; his grandchildren, Christian Abel (Theresa), Daniel Abel (Tracy), Josh Canfield, Nate Canfield and Katie Abel; his great grandchildren, Anneliese Abel, Walter Abel, Louis Abel, Peter Abel, Lorelei Abel and Dean Abel; and his close friend Charlotte Meredith of Wabash, Indiana..
