He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Loyd Sr. and Verna Jones (Hites); and his sisters, Helen Kessler and Darma Smith. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Jones of Wabash; his children, Sandy Jones (Vicki) of Leesburg, Karen Budney of Palm Desert and Nancy Jones (Jerry Welsh) of Wabash; his grandsons, Nicholas Jones (Melissa) of Lebanon, Blake Jones of Leesburg and Zachary Jones (Stephanie) of Chicago, Illinois; and his great grandchildren, Ryan Jones, Audrina Jones, Chloe Jones and Kelsey Jones.
Preferred memorials are Wabash American Legion Post 15 or the American Heart Association.
