He was predeceased by: his parents, George C. Rapp and Agnes Rapp (Mattox); and his siblings, Paul, George Rapp, Ruth Summers and Joyce Cullar.

He is survived by: his son Robert C. Rapp (Leales) of Gas City, Indiana; his granddaughter Crystal Cooley (Derek) of Wabash; and his great grandchildren, Sophia Romine and Theodore Cooley.
