He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel O. Powers and Sybil Powers (Blair); his wife Sandra Kay Hill; and his grandson Franklin Pennington. He is survived by: his children, Sheila Ann Sluss (Bill) of Wabash, Vicki Pennington (Scott) of Urbana and Timothy Edward Powers of Wabash; his grandchildren, Sheri White, Sharon Morgan (Mike), Billy Sluss, Scottie Pennington (Carrie), Doug Pennington (Kasey), Dustin Powers and T. J. Powers; and his brother William Ray Powers of Columbus, Ohio.. He is also survived by several great grandchildren, four great great grandsons.
