She was predeceased by: her parents, Demetrios Giavis and Nicoleta Giavis (Karras); her son Dimitri Gatzimos; and her siblings, Harry, Ted, Vassilios Giavis and Sophia Giavis.
She is survived by: her spouse Christos Gatzimos; her children, Vassilios "Bill" Gatzimos (Crystal) of Nashville, Christa Franke (Tom) of Monroeville and Dr. Alex Gatzimos (Kathryn) of Osceola; and her daughter-in-law Colleen Gatzimos-Reed (Gregg) of Wabash. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.
