She was predeceased by: her parents, Theron Ellsworth and Mary Alice Shoemaker (Boicourt); and her sister Beverly Ann Shoemaker. She is survived by: her children, Lori Love, Melanie Stroud (Jamie), Gene Walker (Denver) and Tiffany Loftis (Jaime); and her sister Diana Meyers (Gene). She is also survived by eighteen grandchildren.
