She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Sylvester and Pearl Reed (Brooks); her daughters, Cathy Mendoza and Victoria McVicker; and her siblings, Cleave, Leonard, Robert, Ray, Jess Reed, Beulah Vinson and Ilene Tabler.
She is survived by: her former husband Joseph Thomas McVicker; her husband Roger Dale of Wabash; her children, Timothy McVicker (Pam) of Denver and Melody Deal (Robert) of Camarillo; her son-in-law Robert Mendoza of LaFontaine; her stepchildren, Tom Dale (Janet) of North Manchester, Jim Dale (Kathy) of North Manchester, Dave Dale (Lauren) of Wabash and Nancy Niccum (Randy) of North Manchester; and her brothers, Ronnie Reed of Columbia City and Fred Reed (Mary) of Wabash. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 14 step-grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 43 step-great grandchildren.
