She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest E. Copas and Ina B. Copas (Backstrom); and her sisters, Lucille Eaton and Erma Dorre. She is survived by: her spouse Gene Eldon Hoffman; and her children, Terrie Wronkiewicz of Peoria, David Hoffman (William Shaw) of Yarmouth Port, Ken Hoffman (Karen) of Clear Lake, Pennie Crowley (Patrick) of Shorewood, Mike Hoffman (Kathy) of Columbia and Cindy Armes (Mike) of Wabash. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.
