It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alice Slagal (Wabash, Indiana), born in Peru, Indiana, who passed away on April 12, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald Hayes and Mary Hayes (Fox); and her husband Donald Slagal. She is survived by: her former husband Benny G. Crowe; her children, Jerry Gayle Crowe, Mary Katherine Carroll (Crowe) and Kathie; her siblings, Carla Gaines (Hayes), Danny Hayes, Buddy Hayes and Jerry Hayes; and her granddaughters, Gina Cooper (Crowe) and Andrea Carroll-Gerstlé. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
