He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard McGavic and Olive McGavic (Fields); his stepfather Lewis Brown; his grandson Brice Ryder; his sister Janet Overbey; his sisters-in-law, Donna and Connie McGavic; and his in-laws, Robert and Fannie Lamb.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy McGavic; his daughters, Mischell Ryder (Ed) and Saundra Carroll (Matt); his granddaughter Miranda Ryder; his siblings, Willard McGavic, Virgil McGavic (Lisa), Mark Brown (Daisy), Danny Brown (Merlie), Marty Brown and Galen Brown; and his sister-in-law Pat Carey (Richard).
A burial will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Calendar Memorial Park Cemetery (919 Willow St, Vincennes, IN 47591).
