He was predeceased by: his parents, Herald Baker and Emma Baker (Smith); his wife Sandra "Sandy" Deckard; and his siblings, Leon, Jerry and Dean Baker (Sandy Baker).
He is survived by: his sons, Ryan Baker (Stacy) of Terre Haute and Rhett Baker (Delaney) of Vincennes; his grandchildren, Hallie, Andrew, Pender and Carver Baker; and his sister-in-law Deanna Baker of Wheatland. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
The Baker family has requested memorial contributions be made to the Sandra Baker Memorial Scholarship Fund through the South Knox Education Fund, Wheatland Christian Church or Bruceville Christian Church.
