He was predeceased by: his parents, Harlan "Jock" Wininger and Amy Wininger (Knott); his wife Janet Wininger; his siblings, Janet Sue Wininger, James Wininger (Vivian) and Terry Wininger; his granddaughter Alisha Kay Pinkstaff; and his brother-in-law Sam Tomson.

He is survived by: his son Heath Wininger; his stepchildren, Kenneth Pinkstaff II (Jennifer), Brian Pinkstaff, Stacee Pinkstaff and Guy Godfrey; his grandchildren, Nathan Wininger, Cambria Wininger, Ashley Barmes (Adam), Morgan Phillips (Richard), Kenneth Pinkstaff III (Paige), Paige Meyer (Lee), Kendall Brooks (Wayne), Marlee Pinkstaff, Meagan Dillon (Cory), Seth Chanley and Janet Faye Godfrey; and his sisters, Judith Wiley (Alan) and Catherine Tomson. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.
