He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest J. Vieke and Helen J. Vieke (Casper); his brothers, Donald Vieke and William Vieke (Camille); and his brother-in-law Larry Yarber Sr..

He is survived by: his children, Debra Rushing (Bruce) and Daniel Morse (Penny); his siblings, Ronald Vieke (Judy), Jan Yarber, John Vieke (Cherie), Helen Stiles (Steve), Sharon Carie (David) and Patricia Ragsdale (William); and his sister-in-law Dorothy Vieke. He is also survived by several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
