He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice Thompson and Martha Begeman Thompson; his sister Sandra Robinson; and his son Andy Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Hatton Thompson; his daughters, Julie Palmer and Jennifer Blaize; and his siblings, Steve Thompson and Debbie Loudermilk Pinney. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
