She was predeceased by: her parents, Dell Lewis Lain (Gus) and Prentice Kellems Sr.; her son William Johnson; her brothers, Prentice Kellems Jr. and Bill Lain; and her sister-in-law Betty Lain.
She is survived by: her children, David Johnson (Bette) of Edwardsport, Mary Ann Cress of Bicknell and Ed M. Johnson Jr. (Jane Phegley) of Sullivan; her brother Norman Lain (Darryl) of Tell City; and her daughter-in-law Melissa Johnson. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Knox County Humane Society.
