Marietta F. Earley Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marietta F. Earley of Vincennes, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 6, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Steimel and Agnes Steimel (Mouzin); her husband John W. Earley; and her sons, John Douglas and Greg Earley.
She is survived by: her children, David Earley (Marsha) of Carlisle, IN, Daniel Earley (Janet) of Farmersburg, IN, Rick Earley (Cheryl) of Oaktown, IN, Patricia Earley of Vincennes, IN and Donna Roberts (Carl); and her brother James Steimel of Washington, IN. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and twenty-seven great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home (524 Broadway St, Vincennes, IN 47591). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Old Cathedral Catholic Church (205 Church St, Vincennes, IN 47591). A burial was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 11:15 AM to 11:30 AM.
The Earley family has requested memorial contributions be made to St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, 605 W 4th St., Bicknell, IN 47512.
