She was predeceased by: her parents, Webster Roy McGiffen and Gertrude Louise Dellinger McGiffen; her siblings, Joetta Garrard and David McGiffen; her sister-in-law Margaret L. McGiffen; her nephew Davy McGiffen; her aunt Ethylgene Josh; and her uncle Joe Josh.
She is survived by: her close friend Andrea Kaskus; her sister Lucy Martindale (Al) of Durham, NC; and her nieces and nephews, Beth Jordan (John) of Olathe, KS, Julie Clark (Bob) of Olathe, KS, Chris Magruder (Josh) of Vincennes, IN, Meredith Martindale Oakes (Michael) of Durham, NC, Jeff Garrard (Sheri) of Evansville, IN, Duke McGiffen (Richelle) of Vincennes, IN and Phil Martindale of Durham, NC. She is also survived by many great nieces, great nephews, great-great nieces, and great-great nephews.
