He was predeceased by: his father David Van Meter; and his brother Jeffery Van Meter (Pete). He is survived by: his mother Barbara A. "Mattingly" Van Meter; his children, Kyle Van Meter (Brandi) of Muncie, IN and Jessica Johnson (Tony) of Lebanon, TN; his grandchildren, Addison, Peighton Van Meter, Bryce and Jeremiah Johnson; his siblings, Joan Puckett (Brian) of Oaktown, IN and Jacki Gandy (Rick) of Edwardsport, IN.; and also Barbara A. "Mattingly" Van Meter.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Fredrick and Son McClure-Utt Funeral Home (109 E 6th St, Bicknell, IN 47512).
Memorial donations may be made to the Knox County Humane Society or a charity of the donor's choice.
