She was predeceased by: her parents, Lyndale Pembleton and Gladys Southers York; her husband Bud Buchanan; her former husband John G. Frisz Sr.; her granddaughter Mary Lynn Briner; and her brother Lyndale Pembleton Jr..

She is survived by: her children, John G. Frisz (Linda) of Vincennes, IN and Joyce Buchanan Perkins of Fortville, IN.; her grandchildren, Jason Frisz, Dana Wilson and Laura Darnell; and her brother Robert Pembleton (Pauline) of Vincennes, IN.. She is also survived by 5 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
