It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jess Hendershot (Vincennes, Indiana), who passed away on June 30, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Jess N. Hendershot and Esther Hendershot (Charleen Hendershot); his wife Charleen Grannan; his daughter Terri Lee Hendershot; and his siblings, Jim Hendershot, Marge Hobbs, Mary Emma Wyant, Jackie Ballow, Kay Davis and Bob Hendershot.

He is survived by : his children, Jeff Hendershot (Gara Lee), Jerry Hendershot (Terri) and Susan Hendershot; his grandchildren, Taylor Hendershot, Kaedy Hendershot, Ashlee Montgomery, Cassidy Hendershot, Madison Jo Hendershot-Martin, Jaden Hendershot and Colten Leehy; and his siblings, Bonnie Tooley, Peggy Flowers, Glen Hendershot and Esther Abel. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 2nd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (2004 N 2nd St, Vincennes, IN 47591). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, July 3rd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.

The Hendershot family has requested memorial contributions be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
