Jean Jackson Wells Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jean Jackson Wells of Vincennes, Indiana, born in Carlisle, Indiana, who passed away on August 10, 2023 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Perry F. Jackson and Ora R. Jackson (Rich); and her brother John Jackson (Patty). She is survived by: her husband William Lathrop of Vincennes; her children, John Wells (Debbie) of Princeton, Julie Wells of Madison, WI, Jennie Schmidt of Princeton and James Wells (Sara) of Gilbertsville, KY; her stepchildren, Bob Lathrop (Ronnie) of Boise and Twila Nantz (Don) of Newburgh; her grandchildren, Ashley Wells Jenne (Steve), Benjamin Ching, Daniel Ching, Jacob Schmidt, Andrew Schmidt, Jameson Wells and Jessica Wells; her stepgrandchildren, Diana Donaldson, Aaron Lathrop, Melody Lathrop, Karen Mandujano and Aiden Nantz; her great grandchild Gwyn Jenne; and her sister Joy Mobarry of Minnesota. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
