He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Graham Thomas; his parents, James Henry Thomas and Hazel Miller Thomas; and his siblings, Edna Miller, Betty Edwards and Edward Thomas.
He is survived by: his children, James A. Thomas, Sherri Ricketts (Todd), Tim Thomas (Louann) and Penny Yates (Curt). He is also survived by Nine grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
