He was predeceased by: his parents, John Starrett and Gladys Starrett (Powers); his wife Charlotte Williams; and his sisters, Betty Snyder, Ethel Jones and Phyllis Todd.
He is survived by: his daughters, Angie Wampler (Jeff) of Vincennes and Julie Belcher (DeVon) of Vincennes; his grandchildren, Jeff Wampler, Jr., Jermey Wampler, Charlotte Belcher and Chelsey Belcher; and his sisters, Carolyn Case of Jasper, IN, Joan Archer of Arizona and Jean O'Dell of Missouri. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
