She was predeceased by : her parents, Daniel C. Hardig and Bernice W. Hardig (Phillips); her siblings, Marion Hardig, Donald Hardig, Richard Hardig, and Roseanna Wyatt; and her brothers-in-law, William Calvin Wyatt, Wilbur Brault and Robert Duncan.

She is survived by : her husband William Read Sr.; her son Bill Read; and her siblings, Mary Brault, Loretta Duncan and Thrasilla Hornung (Walter). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
