With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Freda Mae Black of Vincennes, Indiana, who passed away on January 27, 2024 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Archie Fornshell and Daisy Fornshell (Herring); her former husband James William Patrick; her husband George H. Black; and her son George H. Black.
She is survived by: her daughters, Edith Mae Martin of Murray, Sandra Kay Cunningham (Darryl) of Hopkinsville, Phyllis Rae Tyler of Metarie, MaryJo Ellen Desser (Tim) of Lafayette and Vanessa Jean Black of Lawrenceville, Illinois. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations in Freda's memory may be made to Gentle Care Nursing Home.
