With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Francis Lee Balthus of Vincennes, Indiana, who passed away on February 18, 2023 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Margaret "Peggy" Walters Balthus; his son Chad Balthus; his sister Donna Mathews; and his brother-in-law Mike Welton. He is survived by: his wife Josephine "Jo" Balthus; his sons, Scott Balthus (Natalie Thomas) of Newburgh and Heath Balthus of Evansville; his grandchildren, Annistyn Balthus, Waylon Balthus and Avalyn Balthus; and his siblings, Bill Balthus (Casey) of Vincennes, Bonnie Balthus of Evansville, Jean Welton of Vincennes, Connie Young (Louie) of Vincennes, John Balthus (Bev) of Kuttawa, KY, Kathy Balthus of Vincennes and Georgetta Gaines (Jim) of Vincennes.
