We are sad to announce that on April 11, 2025, at the age of 92, Earl Dale Prout (Vincennes, Indiana) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Kenneth and Eva Loraine Prout; his wife Dorothy Stump; his siblings, Patricia Humphrey and Steve Prout; and his son-in-law Philip Chaney.
He is survived by: his children, Kim Prout (Anne) of Vincennes, IN, Koral Rosser (Richard) of Lancaster, SC and Krystal Worth of Seymour, IN.; his grandchildren, Jessica Nielsen (Nic), Benjamin Chaney (Courtney), Mitchell Prout (Jamie), David Chaney (Erla), Nicholas Prout, Kirstyn Chaney, Kathryn Cuthbertson (Matthew), Kelsey Carden (Brandon), Jenna Simmons (Tyler) and Karalyn Chaney; and his great grandchildren, Nehemiah Dale, Noelani, Ezekiel Nielsen, Jude, Silas, Cole Chaney, Emma, Hannah Prout, Zeke, Ophilia, Raylan Chaney, Arden, Jonas, Susanna Cuthbertson, Jack Simmons and Bennett Carden.
Memorial contributions can be made in his memory to the Seymour High School Earl Prout Award.
