It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dorothy M. Johnson of Vincennes, Indiana, who passed away on March 31, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Oda R. Pitcher and Bertha Pitcher (Funcannon); her husband Louis Johnson; and her great grandchild Delilah Johnson. She is survived by: her daughters, Lois Lanning of Vincennes, Janet Kissel (Sam) of Newburgh, IN and Ruth Ellen Johnson of Vincennes; her grandsons, Brian Lanning (Jessica), Jeff Lanning, Daniel Kissell (Hilary) and Brock Johnson (Olivia); and her great grandchildren, Caleb Lanning, Avery Lanning, Gavin Lanning, Sutton Kissel and Daisy Johnson.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home (524 Broadway St, Vincennes, IN 47591). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
The Johnson family has requested donations be made in her name in lieu of flowers to On Eden's Wings.
