With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris Jean Blackburn (Vincennes, Indiana), who passed away on May 4, 2022 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James A. Garland and Mildred L. Garland (Mosby); her husband Paul Blackburn; and her brothers, Jimmy, Paul Dean, Lowell and Roger Garland.
She is survived by: her siblings, Margaret Townley of Petersburg, IN, Tim Garland (Nancy) of Zionsville, IN and Janet Vaughn (Mike) of Pikeville, IN; her sisters-in-law, Christine Garland, Nelda Garland, Rosalie Blackburn and Sharon Blackburn; her grandchildren, Carisa Stegall (Matt), Derek Cox, Cameron Blackburn, Brighton Blackburn and Lindsey Blackburn; and her great grandchildren, Jackson, Trae and Nevan Stegall.
The Blackburn family has requested contributions be made to Franklin Heights Christian Church, 1509 Franklin Drive, Vincennes, IN 47591.
