She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Susan Marie "Parish" Stearns of Bryson City, NC and Richard Irwin Stearns; her husband Ernest Gouverneur; her children, Gabrielle Williams (Rashid) of Aubrey, Texas, Michael Lahti of Vincennes, IN, Daniel Gouverneur (Gabriella) of Las Vegas, NV, Anthony Gouverneur of Buckskin, IN, Robin Gouverneur (Trina) of Buckskin, IN and Patrick Gouverneur (Cameron) of Plymouth, IN.; and her siblings, Kelly Thompson (Charles) of Amite, Louisiana, Cindy Stearns of Louisiana and Richard Stearns II (Pamela) of Atlanta, Georgia.. She was also cherished by four grandchildren.
