He was predeceased by: his mother Violet "Marie" Roark (Fitzpatrick); his sister Barbara; his parents-in-law, Walter and Dorothy Spanger; and his pets, Jody and Sophie.
He is survived by: his father Clifford Avery. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, an aunt, cousins and many dear friends.
