Carolyn June Kness Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carolyn June Kness of Vincennes, Indiana, born in Zion, Illinois, who passed away on July 11, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Dan Heiser and Eleanor Heiser (Kratz); her husband E. James Kness; her daughter Cheryl Stare (Ron); her sister Arlene Christenson; her aunt Christina Heiser; her son-in-law Dan Whittington; and her great grandchild Olivia Whittington.

She is survived by: her children, Wanda Whittington (late Dan), LuAnn Whittington (Terry) and James Kness; and her grandchildren, Danny, Michael, Nicole, Brian, Jason, Tara, Ed, Aleigha, Elliott and Annalise. She is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Camp Zion, Ellison Bay WI for the Gathering Place are recommended.
