It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Lou Wells of Vincennes, Indiana, who passed away on February 14, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy M. Jerrell and Mildred Jerrell (Miller); her spouse Merle R. Wells, Sr.; her stepmother Helen Jerrell; her brother Richard Jerrell; and her son Merle Wells, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Sharon Jones (Jerry) of Vincennes, Bruce Wells (Janet) of Lawrenceville, Richard Wells (Gina) of Centerville and Danny Wells (Dawn) of Yuba City, California; her daughter-in-law Cathy Wells of Bargersville, Indiana; and her sister-in-law Bertha Jerrell of Vincennes, Indiana. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made to the 4th Street Wesleyan Christian Church.
