With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty J. Halter of Vincennes, Indiana, who passed away on March 2, 2023 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard E. Alton and Charlotte Brown Alton; her siblings, John, Charles Alton, Jane Klacking, Marjorie Shots, Ann Houck, Rita Taylor and Mary Dile; her daughter-in-law Diane Halter; and her husband Charley Halter.
She is survived by: her children, Daniel Halter (Paula) of Washington, IN, Major Dodie Halter, Charlotte Kamp (Robert) of Vincennes, IN, Charles Halter, Andrea Perry of Bruceville, IN, Richard Halter (Amie) of Vincennes, IN and Matthew Halter (Tammy) of Vincennes, IN.; and her sisters-in-law, Norma Halter and Shirley Alton. She is also survived by 2 grandsons, 7 granddaughters, 10 great grandchildren.
