He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Downen (Kidwell); his granddaughter Kylee Ann Arvin; his siblings, Vic Downen (Karen), Martha "Duffer" Downen of Vincennes, Gloria Worland of Linton, Georgia Stasulis (Al) of Mississippi, Sandy Hall of Alabama, John Downen of New York and Jennifer Daily; his nephew Carter of Vincennes; and his sister-in-law Carol Downen of Wheatland. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
