She was predeceased by: her parents, Carrie Augusta Works (Slack) and Jesse Floyd Works; her husband Wilfred Lawrence Cole; and her siblings, Gerald Nolan Works, Edwin Loren Works, Warren D. Works, Donald Leroy Works and Lois A. Wells (Works).
She is survived by: her children, Mitzi Higgins of Fairview, IN and Mike Cole (Brenda) of Vevay, IN; her grandchildren, Heidi Higgins (Danny Knotts), Chad Higgins (Crystal) of Bennington, IN and Dustin Higgins (Jessica Hendrix); her great grandchildren, Heather Weaver, Cody Knotts, Hailey Gerster, Courtney Higgins, Alanna Taylor and Scotty Hendrix; her great great grandchild Haydan Bussel; and her siblings, Dale Works (Betty) of Rising Sun, IN, Tommie Works (Rita) of Allensville, IN and Betty Mulvany of Brookville, IN. She is also survived by her numerous nieces and nephews.
