He is survived by: his children, Jerry Ray of Vevay, IN, Paul Ray (Lisa) of Vevay, IN, Eric Ray of Vevay, IN and Stacie Helton (Steven) of Vevay, IN; his grandchildren, Grant, Douglas, Cameron, Carter, Keegan, Kortni, Alexis and Connor; his great grandchildren, Evelenia, Oliver, Ada Mae, Alexander, Klara and Leo; his siblings, Mary Jane Demaree (Tom) of Vevay, IN, Phyllis Collier (Pat) of Vevay, IN, Kay Roland (Rick) of Jeffersonville, IN, Connie Spurlock (Ron) of Allensville, IN, Rita Scudder (Randy) of Rising Sun, IN and James "Jim" Ray (Sharon) of Vevay, IN; and his sisters-in-law, Robin Ray of Franklin, TN and Betty Ray of Cincinnati, OH. He is also survived by his numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Haskell & Morrison Funeral Home (208 Ferry St, Vevay, IN 47043). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Vevay American Legion Post #185 Relief Fund.
