He was predeceased by: his parents, William B. Hansel and Ruth Carol Hansel (Harrell); his father-in-law Ulia Cole Earls; and his stepmother-in-law Norma Earls. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Rebecca Hansel (Earls) of Mt. Sterling, IN; his children, Melinda Lewis (Dale) of Canal Fulton, OH and Donnie Hansel (Jennifer) of North Canton, OH; his grandchildren, Chace Michael Lewis and William Sterling Hansel; his sister Deborah Gazey (Alan) of Barberton, OH; his stepson Ray Denning (Stacy) of Madison, IN; his mother-in-law Wyrola Cole of Columbus, GA; and his siblings-in-law, Julia, Shane Allen, Mike, LuAnn Earls of Lakeland, FL, Fred Earls of Madison, IN, Bill, Nelda Earls, Brian Cole of Columbus, GA and Jamie Cole of Columbus, GA.
