He is survived by: his wife Margaret Higgins of Vevay, IN; his children, Scott Higgins of Aurora, IN, Angie Chase (Todd Chase) of Vevay, IN, Amy Hummel (Scott Hummel) of Aurora, IN, Sara Hoffman (Billy Hoffman) of Rising Sun, IN and Catherine Higgins of Dillsboro, IN; his stepsons, Benjamin and Barry Waters of Cincinnati, OH; his brothers, Richard Higgins of Harrison, OH and Joel Higgins of Whitewater Township, OH; his grandchildren, Josh Higgins, Seth Higgins, Cayli Gray, Coby Chase, Kyah Chase, Colt Hummel, Georgia Hummel, Emma Hoffman, Eli Hoffman, Ezra Hastings, Ayden Hastings and Corey Hastings; and his great grandchildren, Archie Gray and Nora Higgins.
Memorials may be given in honor of Bill to the Wounded Warrior Project.
